A Thank You, Some Love And A Video

 

 

Thank you for all the amazingly kind comments, emails and texts. 

Thank you, thank you, thank you - for all the prayers for my dad.

They mean so much to me and my family.
I'm so grateful to be surrounded by so much love and support.

 

 

These past two weeks have been insane - a roller coaster that doesn't seem to want to stop.

My dad is still fighting.  And we are still praying like crazy.

 

I have a million and twenty-seven thoughts running through my mind right now.
In time, I will write and write and pour it all out.

I have gone through every emotion under the sun in these past fourteen days.

I've cried most nights lately.

But every single morning, I wake up to this face...

 

And I...

 

 

I smile instantly. 

 

This little girl is simply amazing.  She has been a trooper.  A ball of sunshine through all the rain.
She keeps me going. 
She lets me know it's okay to cry, too.

 





 

 

She takes mere seconds, creates such peace...

 And for a moment, there is no pain.

It makes me explode.  This sweet, funny, animated, happy baby girl is ours. 

And we truly don't know what we'd do without her.

 

Last week, we played this video for my dad over and over and over again.

Though his eyes were closed, we believe he heard his granddaughter.  And that's a comfort. 

 

 

Waiting can be so hard.

Thankfully, we have this love to hold on to.
