Happy

"Happy" - Leona Lewis

I can already tell it's going to be one of those days.  No, not a bad day - but the kind where you're not ever quite sure what day it is.
I'm very much, optimistically hoping that's a good thing for our Monday. Steve is off from work.
  Because today, we have plans.

We're turning the next page in this chapter.

Flipping to the next page doesn't guarantee instant results.
We're not expecting an answer today.

But,

It's progress.  It's making a move.  It's taking it to the next level...
and
It makes me happy.

I could get all emotional and let the words start flowing.  But, I'm not going to at this moment.
I need to keep this mellow vibe going and save up the emotional energy for the rest of the day.
My intuition tells me that February will be full of pour-my-heart-out/candid posts.
As well as March, April, May and so on, for that matter.

So, for today, I will say...

I feel good.  I feel unusually calm.
It's a sign.  A sign that lets me know this journey is ready to move forward.
I know that today is going to be one that will always stick clear in my mind and deep in my heart.
And it hasn't even truly begun yet.
But, like I mentioned in a couple posts back...
Sometimes,
you just know.

I raise my coffee cup with a Monday morning toast.

Cheers - to marching ahead...
To new pages that will teach us new lessons.
To a beautiful, so-beyond-gonna-be-worth-it
New step
and
New day

Cheers - to sperm donors.

Happy Pictures...

A lazy, loungy, weekend morning with the Mister.  Hot coffee and treats while
we catch up on our shows.

Discovering new yums at the grocery store.  This is trouble right here...Cold
Stone Creamery now makes coffee creamer.

Glittery nails and Krimpet kitty.

Enjoying a quiet night with the house to myself after mucho cleaning...
Receiving this photo from Steve - letting me know he's happy because
the Giants won.
(yay! a break from sports for a few weeks!)

Welcoming the first of the month with this gorgeous babe and her Mama,
over chocolate chip muffins.

Smiling, even when she's not feeling well.

An entertaining walk and trip to the park with sweetie pie, Noah and Adam.

A homemade lunch date at Jessica's...that turned into one of our famous all day/all night affairs.

Getting picture text messages like this one, from Steve.
That would be Muffin's eyes glowing in the top window...watching Steve come home from work.

Returning the love to Steve, with love from the kitties.

Meeting up with Jen and Sean...

for a much needed reuntied/double date/food frenzy.

Chickie's and Pete's! Ah memories (I lived in Philly for ten plus years, dang I miss home!)

I'm brand new to the blog (from Thirsty Thursdays) so I'm going to have to back up and read some back posts to get to the mysterious thing of which you speak! But if mellow is where you need to be, I hope you can curl up with a good book, a quiet moment, and peaceful nap.
